Recognition

The Madhya Pradesh Bhoj (Open) University (MPBOU) was established under an Act of State Assembly in 1991. Madhya Pradesh Bhoj (Open) University is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India (http://www.ugc.ac.in/inside/univmore.php? id=139) and Distance Education Council (DEC) Govt. of India (http://www.ignou.ac.in/sou/index.htm). Duly recognized also by the State Govt. of Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh. The university has an important existence in the Association of Indian universities (AIU). MPBOU’s Degrees/Diplomas/Certificates are recognised by the AIU and are at par with Degrees/Diplomas/Certificates of all Indian universities .
