Research Cell

The Ph.D. research work must be a piece of original research work characterized either by the discovery of new facts or invention of new ideas or a new interpretation of theories among others.

Minimum qualification: -A candidate with Master's Degree with 55% of an university or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto in such fields of study as notified for this purpose from time to time by the university.

Board of Studies shall be responsible for research topics covering the disciplines assigned to the Departments concerned.

Fee structure:- Ph.D. Registration fee is Rs 8200/- for two years, Rs 2000/- will be added for every subsequent year.

Duration: - 2 to 5 years.

Our university has Ph.D. facility in following subjects: ­

Basic Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Mathematics), Computer Science, Education (General and Special Education), (Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology), History, Information Technology, Management, and Political Science.

Guide should be from the list of registered guides of M.P.Bhoj Open University.

Minimum qualification doesn't guarantee the registration of Ph.D. The candidate defends his/her synopsis in front of Research Council members. Synopsis is approved only after the Research Council members are satisfied.
