OBJECTIVES  

As a result of the group and individual activities included in this course, the student will acquire the following knowledge and skills that can be applied to the workplace :
Exporting Today :
* Identify the current trends in global exproting.
* Recognize how small businesses are competing with large corporations in today's market

International Markets :
* Understand the process of introducing a product (or Products) to the international market
* Describe the importance of a "slow introduction" of products to a new market.

Market Research and Entry :
* Explain the importance of market research when introducing a product to a foreign market.
* Understand and explain basic logistical and distribution methodologies in moving goods into foreign market.

Pricing :
* Recognize proper prices of goods in an internation market.
* Distinguish the difference between domestic and international pricing.

Getting Paid :
* Differentiate the methods of payment involved in the exporting of goods.
* Distinguish the risks involved with the different payment methods.

Shipping & Documentation :
*
Explain the importance of proper documentation when exporting goods.
* Describe why proper documentation is vital when entering the international market.

Product Distribution :
*
Understand the importance of a good distributor in a foreign market.
* Recognize the value of distribution agreements.

DURATION  

This course shall be of 18 months. (Additional 6 months complete Export Methodology + Project)
