Filling The Form  | Admission Process
Kindly go through the following major components of the admission procedure of the university.
INFORMATION BROCHURE
  • The Information Brochure along with the application form for admission for 2007-2008 can be obtained from the Director, Regional Services & Student Support MPBOU, Bhopal, either in person on payment of Rs 150/-or through post by sending a written request accompanied with a Demand Draft of 200/-drawn in favour of the Registrar, MPBOU Bhopal. The Applicant should write his/her name and the address on the backside of the bank draft.
  • The Information Brochure along with the application form for admission can also be obtained from the respective Regional Directors, of the Regional Centres /Study Centre Heads of the approved Study Centres of the university in person on payment of Rs150/-. The list of Regional Centres of the university is mentioned in page number …… of the Information Brochure.

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM FOR ADMISSION
  • For Students opting regional centres/study centres which are with-in Madhya Pradesh : Duly completed application form for admission along with Demand Draft of the amount as indicated against each course payable to the Registrar, MPBOU,. ……(Name of the concerning regional centre) should be sent by post or submitted in person to the respective Regional Directors of the concerned Regional Centres located at Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Ujjain, Rewa, Raipur, Bilaspur, Durg Jagdalpur, Sagar, and sub regional centre in Satna.
  • For Students opting study centres which are outside Madhya Pradesh: The students opting the centres outside Madhya Pradesh should submit the duly completed application form for admission along with Demand Draft of the amount as indicated against each course payable to the Registrar, MPBOU, Bhopal by post or in person to the Study Centres opted by the student for his study.

LAST DATE

For students opting regional centres/study centres, which are with-in, Madhya Pradesh the application form for admission along with the required certificates, (mentioned next) and bank draft of fee should reach the respective Regional Centres of Madhya Pradesh Bhoj (Open) University by 30 th October 2007, and with late fee by 30 th December 2007. For Students opting study centres which are outside Madhya Pradesh the application form for admission along with the required certificates, (mentioned next) and bank draft of fee should reach the Study Centres opted by the student for his study on the above mentioned dates.

ENCLOSE FOLLOWING CERTIFICATES ALONG WITH THE APPLICATION FORM FOR ADMISSION
  • Mark-sheets: Two sets of Xerox copies of Mark-sheets dully attested of qualifying/last attended examination (High School, Higher Secondary (10+2), Graduation, Post graduation)
  • Photographs: Two recent passport size photographs.
  • Envelopes: One Self Addressed Envelopes, duly Stamped should be enclosed with the application form.

DATE OF SUBMISSION OF FORMS FROM STUDY CENTRES TO HEADQUARTER

The Study Centres should send the application form for admission to the headquarter within 10 days of last date of submission of form. (OR mention the exact date).

STUDENT INDUCTION PROGRAMM

The respective Regional Centres/Study Centres will conduct an Induction Programme for the students who have applied for admission in the Academic Programmes of the university by issuing letters to the students informing about the date and time of their induction programme. The Induction Programme will be divided into two major components

Document Verification

The students will have to bring their original documents for verification of required document and eligibility condition. For example original mark-sheets of qualifying/last attended examination, original certificates, original Cast Certificate etc. Upon verifying the original documents and eligibility produced by the student the respective Regional Centres/Study Centres will confirm admission to the student.

Induction Meeting

Once the student is admitted in a particular academic programme of the university the respective Regional Centres/Study Centres will have a one hour face to face counselling session with the students to introduce them to the Distance Education system and will distribute the Self Instructional Study Material, Assignments and Contact session Time-Table to the student
