Producing quality and effective audio and video programmes and to make seamless, effective and sustainable intervention to popularize the distance and open learning among the people of the country particularly among rural and tribal people. Maintenance of quality and standard in audio visual delivery.

 Vision :

 Ø       Support the University Mandate and Vision 'Cost-effective extension and promotion of quality education through reaching the un-reached by the use of Audio Visual Communication Technology.

 Ø       Maintenance of academic standard and quality in Distance Education. with the Audio-Visual support.

 Ø       Intervention for the popularization of Distance and open learning system among the peoples of the country.
