Master of Education through Distance Mode (M.Ed.)

 Eligibility:-

Eligibility for admission to the programme shall be as per NCTE norms. Candidates from Madhya Pradesh as per MPBOU jurisdiction who have obtained at least 55% marks (Aggregate of Theory and Practice) in B.Ed./ B.Ed.El.Ed/ B.A.B.Ed./ B.Sc.B.Ed. both regular or distance mode and two years teaching/Professional experience after completion of B.Ed programme in a Government/ Government recognized school/ NCTE recognized teacher education/ research institution in education are eligible for admission. These shall be a relaxation of 5% marks in favour of SC/ST/OBC/ as per rules of Madhya Pradesh Government.

 Medium of Instruction:-

The learning material is in English. However, in due course of time, the programme will be available in Hindi also. The medium of instruction is English/Hindi. Students can write answer in Term-End Examination and assignments in Hindi also.

 Duration of the Programme:-

Minimum - 2 years
Maximum - 4 years

 Programme Fees:-

Rs. 45,000/- for the entire programme of two years in one installment at the time of Counseling.

Admission Procedure

Criteria for selection will be:
(i) I. The performance in written test in education and general knowledge 70 Questions 70 Marks. The Entrance Test Examination will be held at selected centers on First Sunday of November from 11 AM to 1.00 PM.(2 hours duration)
(ii) Academic qualifications 14 Marks.
(iii) PThe length of in service experience 16 Marks. There shall be reservation of seats for ST/SC/OBC as per rules of Madhya Pradesh.

Bachelor of Education through Distance Mode (B.Ed. )

 Eligibility:-

(i) Full-time regular in-service teachers working in the school system with Bachelors Degree from any recognized Universities of India and at least two years of teaching experience in Madhya Pradesh State at the time of commencement of the programme (i.e. 31.Dec.) will be the eligibility for the admission.
(ii) The Candidate must have graduation/post graduation degree with 50% marks .There will be relaxation of 05% of marks for candidates of SC,ST,OBC and other category.
Note: The course is open only for those school teachers who are serving in the states of Madhya Pradesh.

Medium of Instruction

The learning material is in English/Hindi. The medium of instruction is English/Hindi. Students can write answer in Term-End Examination and assignments in Hindi also.

Duration of the Programme

Minimum - 2 years
Maximum - 5 years

Programme Fees

The programme fee is Rs. 25000/- (Twenty Five thousands only). The fee is limited to cover the operational cost of running the programme of acceptable quality. The programme fee is inclusive of examination fee and is to be paid by all the admitted candidates at the time of counseling and allotment of study centre by Bank Demand Draft in the favour of Registrar, M.P. Bhoj(open)University Bhopal. Study centers may charge the caution money of Rs 500/-for library/laboratory facilities. This is refundable after the completion of the programme by the study center itself.

Admission Procedure

Criteria for selection will be:
(i) The performance in written test (based on Mental Ability, Gen.Knowledge and Teaching Aptitude) 70 Questions 70 Marks. The Entrance Test Examination will be held at selected centers on First Sunday of November from 11 AM to 01 noon. (Two hours Duration)
(ii) Academic qualifications 14 Marks.
(iii) The length of teaching experience after graduation 16 Marks. The reservation for SC/ST/OBC etc. will be as per the rules of the State Government.

Diploma in Education through Distance Mode (D.Ed. )

Master of Arts in Education through Distance Mode (M.A. Education)

 Eligibility:-

Eligibility for admission to the programme is bachelor's degree in Education or B.Ed From any recognized University.

 Medium of Instruction:-

English/Hindi

 Duration of the Programme:-

Minimum - 2 years
Maximum - 5 years

 Programme Fees:-

Rs.24,000/- for the entire programme of two years in one installment at the time of Counseling.

 Admission Procedure:-

I.The MPBOU would publish admission notices in the leading News Papers of the State every year.
II. All formalities of the admission will be completed before the commencement of the course/programme on merit if necessary.
